Alene has read her short stories, essays and poetry at spoken word events in New York and Los Angeles including featured writers readings at Barnes & Noble. 
 
With a passion for Shakespeare, Alene studied British Classical Theatre at the University of Oxford in England and then went on to work with modern day Oscar, Emmy and Tony-nominated wordsmiths.  Words, communication, expression and reporting of the human condition are still at the heart of her work as a writer. Click here for more information.
